I've been working on my knees Randy Crawford on the principal here small it is awesome to see so many people here for this we had to go to one day or you do it Felicity Smoak call Frontier 2 years the last time was a holiday time concert back in December of 2019 so we have to offer virtual stuff that I really am music teachers pull together but I lie last year but nothing like why far as I'm concerned so thank you for being here and thank you for complying with the rules and really enjoy I am going to turn the gym lights out be more like a real Auditorium good evening for those of you who I have not met for my name is Rose underkoffler and I am the orchestra teacher here at Georges Mall to work with these kids so far this year on stage r i d s sixth grade Orchestra they just kid playing their instruments in September we could delay the current 6th graders this year we delay their starting interest until this year because of all the craziness so it's a unique opportunity this year you have a very large group of students on this stage and it is incredibly exciting for me as a teacher and I hope exciting for them as to musician but already the talking tonight we have a weather in training I think the pain will be doing the rest of our introductions for the 5th and 6th grade Orchestra but for now we are going to start with our first song armor song Twinkle Twinkle Little Star this is our first song that we usually take energy Street Beaufort has play three ways that the Caddo which means flipping bowling normal way and using one of our vacation for the motorcycle stuff from our next song Woman Called Ode to Joy in the song we learn how to be a good day to go in the area of a circle and land before playlist for the rest of the day Alaska is our last song is are you sleeping a conditional French folk song we are going to play this song Twice once all together and the second time in a row you'll hear the violins. n e p h a l o s they were fortunate enough to be able to play last year and everybody on the stage with in one of these virtual concerts that went on to school website they have played all together all year and they sound so we are excited to share three pieces with you tonight and he fancies pieces we all we started out quite slow and over the course of the year so far every time I'm like can we go faster or cuz you think this is too slow they're like yes and they continue to ask me to push them harder and harder to be the best they can be and I think that they are a fabulous group and I'm so honored to work with them I actually tried it to see you guys specifically to why we're here tonight we weren't sure what we were going to have in store for concerts are because of everything being so I've known and you guys were like fleas undercover we really want to showcase what we've done for the last two years so I hope that they are incredibly proud of their work because I am incredibly proud of their work and we are tied together that weekend different Orchestra play pop music. unfortunately a last-minute addition to the program and he is not on the paper program that was passed out at the door but we'd like to give a big thank you to mr. Adams four cuz I'm lazy I just have one more piece of their own is called Colossus what has become a classic I'm and they really enjoy playing in so we can be like that, and then we are going to invite squeezes and 6th graders back up for one final piece thank you again very much for being here tonight it means a lot to me at the teacher to see so many people here support our students there since I know and also needs a lunch with them so thank you very much are you dating now are all of our Orchestra students grades five through eight are final song together in the world in 7th and 8th grade and then everyone will join us on the quest thank you very much for coming to our concert tonight and supporting or student musicians address white claw normal 1 2 3 4 Jazz 1 2 3 4 Disco Rock 1 2 3 1 Coronavirus 1 so you're most turkey and Beth Foster yeah just get pumped everybody. reading 11 to 12 reading one two ready and for
