My name is Richey Vickers, I have been a teacher for 14 years! I am originally from Decatur, Ga. I grew up in in Lawrenceville, Georgia where I attended Central Gwinnett high school.

I graduated from Limestone College in Gaffney, SC where I was a member of the inaugural wrestling team. I earned my teaching certificate with a major in Social Studies Education with a minor in Biology. I have dual Masters degrees in Instructional Technology and Media Specialist certification from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga.

I began my teaching career as a 7th grade Social Studies teacher at South Hall Middle School in Oakwood, Ga. While at SHMS I served as the Varsity and Middle School wrestling coach the Head JV boys soccer coach and assistant Varsity boys soccer coach. I taught 7th and 8th grade for 7 years before moving to Maine. I spent two years at RSU 57, as an elementary and middle school Technology Integrator before landing in Windham!
