Standards/PIs: Connections: Students understand relationships in art, throughout history.

Student Assignments:Students emboss a stylized figure in the Egyptian style.

Course:  6th Grade Art

Course Schedule:  7:40-8:22, 8:25- 9:07

Office Hours: Friday, 8:00-9:00

Essential Questions:  How is art influenced by other cultural traditions

Standards/PIs: Creation, Performance, Expression: Students create, perform, and express ideas through the art discipline. Students use  contour lines to create.

Student Assignments: Students create a drawing using a contour line. Students will use technology to demonstrate their skills.

Essential Questions: WHAT CAN WE CREATE USING MATH and TESSELLATION DESIGN? 

Standards/PIs:  Creation and Expression, Use tessellations design to create original art \.

Student Assignments: Create a tessellation template and turn it into a watercolor pencil drawing.
