A Day Class- Wednesday, B Day Class- Tuesday.
Office Hours:
Daily by email, Thursdays 12:00-2:00.
Essential Questions:
In-depth review of: notes on all strings, D Major Scale, G Major Scale, basic quarter, eighth and half note rhythms, and general instrumental, and music reading techniques. Starting new: Brandenburg Concerto No. 5.

NL1: Rhythmic Notation - Read whole, dotted half, half, dotted quarter, quarter, eighth, sixteenth, notes and rests in 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4 meter signatures.
Performance Literacy:
PL1: Rhythm Performance - Count and perform whole, half, quarter, eighth, triplets, sixteenth, and dotted notes, and rests, in 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, and compound meters.
PL2: Note/Pitch Performance - Students accurately perform in the keys of G and D.
