Students from all grades at Jordan Small Middle School perform in their 2019 Winter Instrumental Concert.

good evening and Welcome to our second onto the holiday season we have excellent started last week with third grade grade it was a lovely evening sorry it's a little chilly in here it is my pleasure to introduce Orchestra but I would also like to know that since mrs. Gordon started I will screen program about 10 years ago and has grown from a handful like three four five kids to almost 30 when she's outstanding that is really great news. I'm hungry and be introduced. This is the fifth grade Orchestra they have been playing since that's the beginning of October they have been working extremely hard and we have three pieces to this evening will be playing Hot Cross Buns this is our very first song that we learned all that time ago either second song Mary Had a Little Lamb and I will finish off with a holiday favorite jingle bell let me get the third person to welcome you to The Gorge concert tonight students are going to perform ensembles from Rocky jazz band orchestra concert band set my timer to our eighth-grade experts we would like you to this is our 5th grade band in our students speak Chinese funny Minecraft that's not working we have alto sax demonstrated by mr. desorbo Berrington Park excellent, but a little girl Survivor for Cushing's in the back Trials of Prevost and the bass drum and a triangle this is Kaden symbol does Idol come on and the Bells what you going to do tonight one of our students to introduce our first is there a mint so I call her and I played the Cornet our first song is it you just want to song play Rain Rain lyrics are rain rain go away come again another day I'm coming to swervo I play the trombone in the 5th grade band our second song is Go tell Aunt Rhody it is also a children's song but this is but this one has a Twist at every other star Go tell Aunt Rhody Go tell Aunt Rhody the old Grey Goose is dead hello my name is Raven Prevost play percussion such as snare drum face transplant Mills Iowa phone block and Camille and suspended cymbal alasky's is Itsy Bitsy Spider traditional the song is around that means everybody in the play at the play the same thing play the last song is American holiday song by Jess Pier One please enjoy tables have any problem so the next two bags that we have our Jazz and rock band this section program is a little bit different usually when you're a please continue to do if you are so Moon by someone's going or song please feel free to sing-along take Barn Avalon is that the spirit of music so we're about to play with our Japanese volume down a little bit like a drive-in so we raised donations for the food pantry and I think she was also in the concert band that's better opportunity to play quite a bit tonight is bruising caused by Oscar pettiford Old MacDonald baby videos I can do. so this is our student rock band what's the weather Edwards please sing along Sky Zone the first tree Square Fire in the Sky play so much pain after meet me after school they come in once a week on Tuesday to wear this music and they do a really good job and right now I think we're almost all 6th graders so if your 6th grader either hand if you have 4 less than one whole year razor hand how do you spell 7th and 8th grade Orchestra rehearsal on their own and then the 7th and 8th graders get the opportunity every week to have one class to themselves and the Minecraft combine I think it is so important for our younger grades to be able to play with our older grades it creates a sense of musical communities within our musicians I'm a lady actually just got the opportunity find together for the first time yesterday their individual work and they're working class just makes it so easy to put them together a song as a full group and then we will send the 6th graders back to sit down and the 7th and 8th graders will play three pieces for you Carol of the Bells intensity which we will only play a portion of a kind of a preview for our spring concert and then we'll finish it in spray and then they'll finish that with into the sky this is the 6th 7th and 8th grade Orchestra I forgot to say one finger back in October we had three students of audition for our district 2 honors festival and we were fortunate it up at all three of those students were accepted into the what's the weather like to recognize done now Mackenzie Keeney and Olivia Bowman so you won't get the opportunity in January to go up to Oxford for a two-day Festival on a plane with musicians from all over our state so it is really cool opportunity are very proud of their hard work and then I have a couple of sister to recognitions in the 6th grade so I'm sad that I had them go sit over there but to play in the elementary Festival honors Orchestra I'm not that kind of a taste of what they can get days in August in for rather in 7th and 8th grade so I nominated three students and they also all got accepted so congratulations to therapy. Cory Brackett so this group is our 6th 7th and 8th grade band altogether they're going to play a couple songs first before we do the 7th and 8th grade band is going to play one song by the 6th grade band has the best seat in the house you guys haven't heard from inside the band oh I am leaving right now and I play the baritone horn in the Contraband the 7th and 8th grade band written by the plant nationality is it also says hello and how do I feed which is why hello I am am leaving work and I've had a trombone in 6th grade band our last two pieces are going to be how far with no break in between they don't work very well together he show the Denver's feelings.
